Solar Energy from PV
Overview

Pathashaala has adopted solar energy and utilizes LED lighting in its living areas, dining hall, and pathways. This sustainable choice has proven highly effective, ensuring that Pathashaala always has lights, even during cyclones, heavy rain, and strong winds. Thanks to its partnership with Selco (P) Ltd, Pathashaala has gone off the grid in the six main dorms and Learning Spaces. Furthermore, in October 2023, the transition to HVDC was completed, setting a new benchmark for reliability. BLDC fans and lights in all dormitories, the dining hall, guest house, study center, administrative building, art center, and learning spaces now operate on HVDC systems.
